Lets just jump right into it...
1. Holy Basil (Tulsi): Holy Basil is a natural herb that works by increasing adrenaline. It effectively lifts brain fog and improves mental clarity. You can drink it as tea (I use Organic India's Tulsi, Turmeric & Ginger tea for the additional health benefits). Another way to consume this amazing herb is by taking Holy Basil liquid supplement drops. You can add a few drops to a cup of juice or water, or take it straight, depending on the directions of the product you purchase. I get my Holy Basil herbal supplement from Sprouts Farmers Market. A third option is to add a few drop of Holy Basil essential oil to your aromatherapy diffuser, if you have one.
2. Rosemary or Peppermint Essential Oil: These powerful essential oils are highly stimulating. They have been used for years to increase energy, mental clarity, and focus. You mix both together and add to your essential oil diffuser. If you don't have an oil diffuser you can click here to learn 13 various way to utilize essential oil for aromatherapy purposes.
3. 15 Minutes of Meditation: Take in deep breaths which will enable you to increase your oxygen intake and improve circulation. Simply sit in a quiet room where you will not be disturbed for the duration of these 15 minutes. Set an alarm for yourself if you need to. Then just quite the mind by focusing on your breath. If your mind begins to drift, don't fight it. Just acknowledge the thought without running away with it, then bring your attention back to your breath. When your 15 minutes are up, stand and give your body a nice stretch. Taking this small amount of time for yourself every day works like hitting a reset button. It helps to release stress & tension as it revitalizes the mind, body, and spirit.
